The Design Philosophy Behind VANRAKAS

Prior to becoming oversized tees; VANRAKAS was simply an idea.

A simple one.

One based on how nature always strives to be what it already is.

Forests grow naturally & in harmony. Rivers flow naturally & with intention. All animals live as themselves & do not have to pretend, perform, or shape themselves to get approval. There is sincerity in that type of living. That sincerity is at the core of VANRAKAS.

VANRAKAS (a collection created by ORNGROO) draws its inspiration from nature — both visually & philosophically.

This collection represents an expression that is raw & honest. Expressions that are bold & grounded. Expressions that can be chaotic while still feeling organic & not manufactured.

In today’s world where everyone feels pressured to follow current trends — VANRAKAS exists as a reminder that individuality doesn’t require perfection. Sometimes, simply being oneself is sufficient.

The same spirit lives in every oversized tee we produce. We make them to be lightweight, breathable & provide freedom for the wearer. Not to restrict them.

Comfort is important, however so too is the meaning behind the clothing. What you choose to wear should represent an extension of who you are & not merely another item in your closet.

There is one belief that exists at the center of VANRAKAS:

Celebrate Nature.

Nature is more than a view. Nature is life. The air we breathe, the rain that nourishes the earth, the forests that balance our planet & all of the other living creatures around us should receive more than mere admiration. They should be respected.

Respect, therefore, will drive action.

That is when our movement will begin: Giving Back to Nature.

As of today, this is our path. As of tomorrow, it will be our duty via true actions that support & protect the natural world.

Since drawing inspiration from nature is meaningless unless we also offer some form of contribution to it.

VANRAKAS serves as a daily reminder for ourselves & others alike of the importance of giving back to nature through design. Through creativity. Through purpose.

This is not just oversized clothing.

It is a way of wearing what matters.

A reminder to stay wild in spirit, honest in expression, and connected to the living world around us.
